"bgb's creative work put Namibia on the map for UK travellers in a matter of months"
Tom Buncle, Managing Director, Yellow Railroad
2010 has seen endless air travel chaos, making a staycation holiday more attractive than ever before. There really is no better place to grab inspiration for year round travel in a caravan or motorhome than at International Caravan & Motorhome 2010. Taking place at Birmingham's NEC, from 12-17 October, buy your ticket now and have ‘the best start to your next adventures' - there are more companies than ever before for you to discover and by attending you will be the first to see the latest models.
Last year's show was a phenomenal success with a record breaking 79,218 visitors, all in search of the latest models and products. This year, the show already has over 250 leading exhibitors lined up to showcase the latest designs and layouts including those from Swift, Bailey, Elddis, Lunar, Coachman, Auto-Trail, Auto-Sleepers, Chausson, Rapido, Burstner, Pilote, Frankia and many more. There are also over 30 new exhibitors such as Roma Caravans, Lyons Holiday Parks, Webbs Motorhomes, Vanmaster, Geist and Craghoppers. For bargain prices on those much-needed accessories, the Accessory Superstore will have the newest products from Riversway, Towsure, Fiamma Spa, Tamworth Camping and more. Various UK, European campsites and Worldwide destinations will also be there to inspire where to enjoy your next adventures.
There are several new free additions this year too, making the show a great day out for all the family. Sample and buy delicious seasonal produce at the New Farmer's Market; see live demonstrations of practical yet inspirational dishes at the New Cookery Theatre and arrange to meet friends, family and fellow outdoor enthusiasts at the New Real Ale Bar where you can taste and buy a selection of mouth-watering real ales. Throughout the show there will also be a New Expert Talks Theatre, where you can attend a series of sessions with experts giving advice on a variety of topics from hot destinations to visit through to useful and practical advice on safety during a camping, caravan or motorcaravan holiday.
Other existing features to enjoy include The Caravan Club's Motorhome Manoeuvring for the opportunity to try driving a motorhome and The Camping and Caravanning Club's Towing Experience where you can try towing a caravan under expert tuition. The Gullivers' KidZone, running on the Saturday and Sunday is also a great way to keep kids entertained. Visitors can decide to stay in their own caravan or motorhome at The Caravan Club's fully-equipped On-site Campsite.
Show Director Sam North said: "After an exceptional 2009 show we've really upped the ante to make 2010 even more spectacular with a new cookery theatre, farmers' market, real ale bar and expert talks theatre. We also have over thirty new exhibitors so it really is the only place to be if you're thinking of buying a caravan, motorhome, holiday home or camping equipment ahead of your 2011 travels. We saw an increase in younger families attending the show last year and we expect even more this year as the appeal of these types of holidays continue to grow".
Advance tickets for just one day are £14.95 and individual tickets bought on the day are £19.95. Children aged sixteen and under are free. A Freedom Pass is also available at £26 for unlimited access to the show for the full six days. Tickets can be booked online at www.caravanshows.com or on the ticket hotline number 0844 412 4639.
