bgb was tasked with raising the profile of Åre as a ski destination to the UK market

Solution
To have a large impact with the UK's crowded ski industry quickly and effectively bgb held a media roadshow in 2007 with a series of meetings with key players in the ski industry in order to introduce the resort to them and ensure that they were aware of the key selling points of the resort. This was so successful that it has been repeated on an annual basis twice since, building on existing relationships and establishing new links each time

Results
Over the first two seasons the media roadshow directly resulted in more than £300,000 coverage (advertising equivalent), with more coming out during winter 2009-10. More than 20 media have visited over the past two seasons, with more media visits in the pipeline for the 2009-10 season
