Appointed in April 2007, bgb was the first PR agency to represent Destinology. Balancing media relation campaigns to both drive sales and increase the awareness of Destinology, bgb was also tasked with raising the profile of founder, Dominic Speakman.
Targeting prominent travel media enabled ongoing industry comment opportunities and bgb introduced Dominic to travel editors from The Mail on Sunday, Travelmail and Red magazine, as well as key writers for The Sunday Times, in the first few months of working together.
Profile opportunities have been targeted towards key broadsheet newspapers, online and trade media and publications in Destinology's regional area of Manchester and Bolton. Highlights include a half page interview in the business section of The Daily Telegraph, running with an additional online exclusive feature, a two-hour web forum hosted by Dom on leading wedding channel www.youandyourwedding.co.uk, and profile and regular company update features in the Manchester Evening News and trade publications including TTG.
