Opening Ibis and Etap Birmingham Airport

In October 2008, bgb successfully launched two new Accor hotels, Ibis and Etap on one site at Birmingham International Airport. These joined the already established Novotel in the site opposite Terminals One and Two.

Working in conjunction with Birmingham International Airport, bgb invited regional media to a launch event to highlight the various accommodation options available with Accor.  Over 10 media from online, broadcast and print attended the event which included an overnight stay at Novotel, breakfast at Ibis and a tour of Etap.  There was widespread local coverage with news of the opening and the glowing reviews of the hotels soon followed.
