Mathu joined bgb in 2006 and is now the resident gourmet. She refined her palate in the epicurean capital, Paris where she worked on the Time Out Eating & Drinking Guide and was a news anchor for the first English-speaking radio station, Paris Live Radio. With a passion for good food and fine wine, Mathu loves travelling the world seeking the best farmers' markets, eateries and drinking haunts.

Mathu loves going off the luxury beaten track to discover hidden travel gems from Morocco to the Isle of Wight where she can recommend the best places to eat, sleep and drink. Her penchant for luxury is reflected in her clients which include  Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, One&Only and CK Verbier.
