The Crown at Celtic Manor
The Crown at Celtic Manor is the sister restaurant to The Crown at Whitebrook and in January 2009 was awarded the three AA Rosette and included as one of the highest new entries in the 'Good Food Guide 2009'. Bell at Skenfrith
The five-star Bell at Skenfrith is situated in the beautiful monmouthshire countryside and has 11 individually decorated rooms and an award-winning restaurant. Recently shortlisted in the 2009 Tatler Restaurant Awards Best Sommelier category, the Bell at Skenfrith also boasts an extensive walk in wine cellar with wines from all around the world.
Guests are invited to browse the cellar to choose the perfect wine to accompany their meal.
The restaurant serves traditional dishes using fresh local produce including hung welsh beef, spring lamb and welsh breed pork. Most vegetables, herbs, soft fruits and salads served in the restaurant are grown organically in the kitchen garden. Visitors are encouraged to take a walk around the garden with the gardener and to ask questions about the produce. The Bell at Skenfrith regularly organises events such as wine dinners and special lunches, and the lunch and dinner menus change daily. Mains on the dinner menu range from £14 to £19. The Patchwork Food Company has been making award-winning, handmade and organic pates since 1982. Cookery Courses
