St. Vincent & The Grenadines

The tropical island of Bequia in St Vincent and the Grenadines will be celebrating the 27th Easter Sailing Regatta, from 1 - 5 April 2010. Travellers come from all over the world to watch the colourful Caribbean sailing event, which sees over thirty local boats from Bequia and the rest of the Grenadines compete in the Easter Sailing Regatta race. A fabulous opportunity to soak up the legendary Caribbean hospitality, the Easter Sailing Regatta allows visitors to mingle with the locals and to get a taste of traditional food and music.

The newly built boutique Friendship Bay Beach Resort has 26 guests rooms and suites, which encapsulate a 'contemporary colonial' style. Guests have unlimited access to the hotel's private white sandy beach, perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the Easter
Regatta. Guests are invited to dine at the hotel's Blue Tropic restaurant - which serves up fresh local produce throughout the day.
