In October 2008, bgb conducted a survey of travel companies to provide the industry with unique insight into online spending trends to raise the profile of Frommer's Unlimited as B2B digital online content specialists. Frommer's Unlimited worked together with Travolution, the leading online trade magazine to maximise responses and was able to survey 88 major travel companies including airlines, agents, tour operators, hoteliers and shipping companies.

The resulting survey story was covered by the key online travel trade press including Travelmole, e-tid as well as Travolution and increased awareness of Frommer's Unlimited amongst major travel companies in the industry. The findings are still being used by various marketing press in features on SEO and online marketing spend.

Taking this one step further, Frommer's Unlimited is now conducting a global consumer survey to provide insight into consumer online booking patterns. The results will be released at the Travolution Summit on 21st April 2009
