ATLANTIS, THE PALM LAUNCHES BEHIND THE SCENES TOURS OF THE LOST CHAMBERS
Enjoy three nights at Atlantis, The Palm and discover the secrets of its marine habitat from £519 per person

Atlantis, The Palm has launched a brand new range of guided ‘behind the scenes' tours of The Lost Chambers, the resort's mythical, underwater habitat. For the first time, visitors will be able to discover the different elements involved in the care of the marine species that inhabit The Lost Chambers. Book now to enjoy a three night package to Atlantis, The Palm from just £519 per person, and uncover the secrets of The Lost Chambers.

During the experience, visitors can get up close and personal with a variety of marine animals, giving them a better understanding and appreciation of the ocean and its conservation. The unique tour lasts around 45 minutes and includes a tour of the fish hospital and the food preparation area, plus the chance to feed various marine animals and learn about life support systems. For a real thrill, there is also the opportunity to join one of The Lost Chambers' expert staff to feed Cownose Rays in the shallow waters of the Shark Lagoon.

One of the newest and most popular residents of the delicate marine ecosystem is the Blue Blubber jellyfish, an unusual creature that uses eight oral legs, rather than tentacles, to move through the water. There are also creatures that can only be seen on the new ‘behind the scenes' tours such as the Lost Chambers' newborn baby Guitarfish.

A guided tour of The Lost Chambers costs 75AED (£12.50), whilst the Ray Feeding can be enjoyed for 175AED (£29).

Destinology (www.destinology.co.uk / 0800 634 2866) is offering three nights at Atlantis, The Palm from £519 per person. This includes return economy class flights with Qatar Airways from London Heathrow or Manchester and accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. Book by 15 September for travel until 19 September 2009.
