Sugar Ridge 3 May 2010
Antigua's new boutique hotel, Sugar Ridge, has opened the first Aveda Concept spa on the island. The beautiful spa provides guests with a full collection of treatments featuring holistic therapies, manicures, pedicures, massage, body treatments as well as a hair salon. In line with the Aveda philosophy, all treatments start with a personal consultation to ensure that each guest receives the appropriate techniques and products that are right for their skin and body. The spa, an impressive 6000 square foot, is located in the Sugar Club at the heart of the resort.
The comprehensive spa menu includes authentic Caribbean treatments, such as the ‘Caribbean Therapy Body Treatment', which uses the healing touch and ingredients of the Caribbean to create inner calm and renew the body and senses.
One of the signature treatments - Sugar Bliss - involves 3.5 hours of ‘sheer bliss' designed to the individual. Guests will enjoy an elemental manicure, pedicure and massage, followed by a 2 course lunch with a glass of bubbly!
Sugar Ridge opened in December 2009 as Antigua's most anticipated resort. The hotel boasts 60 contemporary style bedrooms with state of the art facilities, two restaurants and trendy bar, gym, three swimming pools, and a wide range of activities in and around the resort. W&O is offering a 7-night spa package from £1325 per person, including Circuit Train, Nature Walk or Aerobics Class and 1 hour Spa Treatment per day.
